Bumper Star Dunguib Cut for Supreme Novices Following Impressive Debut Over Hurdles

William Hill have cut last season’s Champion Bumper winner - Dunguib from 3-1 to 5-2 favourite for the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle following his impressive debut win over hurdles at Galway on Sunday afternoon.

The Phillip Fenton trained six year old jumped fluidly throughout and eventually won the CCTV Venue Control Maiden hurdle by an easy four lengths.

William Hill’s spokesman Tony Kenny said “In the past a lot of the top class bumper horses haven’t transferred their bumper form to the jumps game, but the early signs look good for Dunguib” He continued “He beat nothing at Galway, but we were still impressed by his near faultless display of jumping.”

5-2 Dunguib, 16-1 Rites of Passage, Sweeps Hill, 20-1 Lidar, 25-1 Bellvano, Manyriverstocross, Vino Griego, 33-1 Like Minded, Luska Lad, Oscar Whisky, Sitting Tennant, 40-1 Candy Creek, Loosen My Load (EW ¼ odds 1,2,3)
