Cheveley Park Stud is
renowned as one of the most successful thoroughbred horse farms in
Europe. Situated in Newmarket, England the ancestral home
of horseracing the stud extends to nearly 1,000 acres. Cheveley
Park Stud itself is home to nine top class stallions, whilst the nearby
Sandwich, Strawberry Hill, Ashley Heath and Warren Hill divisions
are used to accommodate the company's other bloodstock interests.

The Juddmonte Farms Group consists
of six farms in the UK and Ireland and three farms in the USA. The
farms are under the general management of Philip E H Mitchell. Juddmonte
have so far bred 118 individual Group winners, including 13 classic
winners. |

Lanwades is situated
in Newmarket, England, where Thoroughbred Racehorses have been bred
for more than 300 years. It is one of the very few stallion studs
in England still managed by its owner, Kirsten Rausing. Lanwades has
achieved a remarkable 95%+ average fertility for each of the past
20 breeding seasons. There is a permanent staff of some 25 people,
the figure rising to 30 during the season |

The National Stud is
situated two miles from Newmarket, headquarters of British racing.
Facilities include accommodation for eight stallions and up to 200
mares in nine separate yards. The stud has its own feedmill and 500
acres of land providing post and rail fenced grazing.

The privately owned
Shade Oak Stud, established in 1973 by David and Ann Hockenhull,
is at Bagley, near Ellesmere in North Shropshire. the enterprise
is run by David, Anne, son Peter and his wife Emma, with the help
of four permanent, trained staff and temporary staff taken on for
the stud season. |
