Born To Sea Eased for Guineas After Leopardstown Reverse
31/10/11

MansionBet has eased Born To Sea to 10-1 (from 7-1) for next year's Qipco 2,000 Guineas, after the half-brother to Sea The Stars lost his unbeaten record at Leopardstown yesterday afternoon. His conqueror at the Irish track, Nephrite, is also 10-1 for the colts' Classsic.

Born To Sea

"The Classic dream may not be over just yet for Born To Sea's connections, but following his defeat by Nephrite, it looks as if the winner's stablemate, Camelot, will head into winter quarters as favourite for both the Guineas and Derby," said Coral's David Stevens.

Looking further afield, Americain heads Coral's betting for a repeat win inTuesday's Melbourne Cup, ahead of compatriot Dunaden at 6-1, while the Mark Johnston-trained Jukebox Jury is 10-1 for the 'race that stops a nation'.
