Impressive Deauville Winner Gets 14-1 Guineas Quote

Coral has introduced Dabirsim into their Qipco 2,000 Guineas betting at 14- 1, after the colt maintained his unbeaten record in this afternoon's Prix Morny at Deauville.

Once Frankie Dettori pressed the button the race was over as Dabirsim took his 100% tally to four, showing a terrific turn of foot a furlong out and stretching clear of Family One, who tried to make all the running but had no answer to the Christophe Ferland-trained colt.

Vladimir was third and Sofast fourth, both of them passing the David Brown-trained Frederick Engels in the closing stages. Mick Channon's Gatepost finished last in the Group One event.

"Dabirsim's trainer Christophe Ferland may not be well-known to British pun ters at the moment, but the colt was an impressive winner of the Morny, and as an unbeaten Group One winner, deserves his prominent position in the Guineas betting," said Coral's David Stevens.
