Hawkeyethenoo Bags SkyBet Dash 1 Hawkeyethenoo 7/1 Kieren Fallon bagged a quickfire double in the big races at York when Hawkeyethenoo took the SkyBet Dash, after steering Summit Surge to victory in the SkyBet York Stakes. The Jim Goldie-trained four-year-old (7-1) looked to be struggling with the early pace, but a determined Fallon gathered him up and he surged through inside the final furlong to snatch victory by a head from Kaldoun Kingdom. Goldie was delighted with the performance and was full of praise for the efforts of Fallon, who was following up his victory on Summit Surge in the Sky Bet York Stakes. The trainer said: "He gave him a lovely ride and if I can secure him again then we would probably have a go at the Stewards' Cup next week. "Kieren rode him with confidence and knows him well by now. He gave him time to build his confidence, having got stuck in the stalls last time. The Ayr Gold Cup is the main aim." Sky Bet cut the winner from 14-1 into 10s for next Saturday's big handicap at Glorious Goodwood.
