Galopin Des Champs, ridden by Paul Townend, took the lead early on and maintained it throughout the race.
Despite a strong challenge from Fact To File, ridden by Mark Walsh, Galopin Des Champs pulled away in the final stretch to win by seven and a half lengths. Gentlemansgame finished third, with Heart Wood in fourth place.
This victory marks Galopin Des Champs' second consecutive win in the Savills Chase, showcasing his exceptional stamina and speed over longer distances. Trainer Willie Mullins expressed his delight with the performance, praising both the horse and jockey for their outstanding effort.
