Greaneteen rallies to land a thrilling Haldon Gold Cup and bring up a magnificent seven in this race for @PFNicholls.
Treble for the trainer and @CobdenHarry today 👏 @ExeterRaces pic.twitter.com/AAWftOO1gG
Greaneteen was continuing the fine run of form of the Paul Nicholls and Harry Cobden team and travelled very strongly throughout.
However the runner-up led the field a merry dance and going down to the second last it was clear he wasn't going to do down without a fight.
The winner wasn't as fluent as he had been earlier at either of the closing obstacles but knuckled down well on the run-in to reel-in his rival and win by a neck.
It was four-and-a-half lengths back to Pink Eyed Pedro (33/1) in third.
