Quentin Collonges Captures Grimthorpe Chase 1 Quentin Collonges 15/2 Trainer Henry Daly's Quentin Collonges battled to the line, gamely holding off the late challenge of Mr Moss, to win the William Hill Grimthorpe Chase at Doncaster on March 2. Winning on Town Moor for the third time, the nine-year-old jumped for fun at the head of affairs in the hands of Andrew Tinkler. At the other end of the scale Mr Moss was given a waiting ride by Paul Moloney and despite looking awkward at times, was produced perfectly after the last, but the grey battled back to win by half a length. "I've been trying to win this race for a while," said Daly. "He's tiny but tough and is a pleasure to train and is as hard as nails. The tongue strap helped today and I'd imagine he'll have another entry in the Scottish National."
