Balthazaar's Gift Swoops to Take Park Stakes 1 Balthazaar's Gift 16/1 Balthazaar's Gift came from last to first within a handful of strides to win the Eddie Stobart Park Stakes at Doncaster. Held up in rear entering the final furlong, Clive Cox's popular seven-year-old showed trademark pace inside the final 100 yards to take the Group Two prize at odds of 16-1. Irish raider Duff led at a generous gallop and was only worried out of it inside the closing exchanges to finish fourth, while favourite Premio Loco lost nothing in defeat in taking second, half a length off the winner. Himalya was third. Winning jockey Philip Robinson said: "Full credit to Clive - he's waited for the right ground. He's let him run this time and he was spot-on. "He's one of those horses where the race has to go his way. He doesn't mind quicker ground these days - he just doesn't want it too soft. "What he really needs is a very fast pace and you can settle him out the back and come with a run. I always felt like I was getting there."
