Calipto was expected to reverse Triumph Hurdle running with Tiger Roll in the Masterson Holdings Hurdle Race, but he did not read the script.
Instead it was the Festival winner who proved more resolute on the climb to the line, although observers will have noted that the second seemed like he would come on for the run.
