Move over Tom Cruise, there's a Moviesta coming through!
Shagah gave us a 2-1 winner on Thursday, but with two other losers we ended up losing one point to level stakes.
Thus overall at Goodwood we are down by one point.
Let's turn that around today with a horse who really has found his way of late in the form of Heavy Metal in the Betfred Mile.
It makes sense to back him each-way in what is a very competitive affair.
His last two wins have been impressive and decisive and while I would prefer him to be drawn better I still believe he will go close.
He only has a 3lb penalty for his recent cosy win at Ascot and that is not likely to stop him today.
He is also one from one here at Goodwood and his jockey, Joe Fanning can do little wrong at the moment.
I am pretty confident of a big run and with a bit of luck we will move into profit by the end of the day.
I am also keen on the chances of Moviesta in the King George Stakes at 3.40.
He won this race with authority last year and he looks as if he has been specifically trained for this again.
His first run of the season over five furlongs was a really good effort behind Sole Power, the subsequent King's Stand Stakes winner.
Since then he has run twice over six furlongs, which is not his trip.
Now he gets his ideal conditions, namely five furlongs on decent ground at a track he likes.
Rather like Heavy Metal, in such a competitive race he should be backed each-way.
Angus McNae's Friday tips:
3.05 Goodwood: Heavy Metal each-way at 7-1 with bet365
3.40 Goodwood: Moviesta each-way at 13-2 with BetVictor
