Goffs Launch Impressive Catalogue for Breeze Up Sale at Kempton

Goffs Bloodstock Sales has launched a quality catalogue of two-year-olds for its inaugural flat breeze up sale to be held at Kempton Park racecourse on Friday, March 9th. The sale marks Goffs first ever entry into the UK market and will be the first breeze up of its kind in Europe to use the internationally acclaimed Polytrack surface.
The breeze up sector has shown impressive growth in recent years, reflecting
the desire of owners to reduce the time between purchases and seeing
their silks on the track. With the first two year old races of the season
commencing in March, Goffs Breeze Up at Kempton falls at a perfect time
for owners.
The consistency of Polytrack, which is becoming the surface of choice
in the United States and other major racing nations, makes it an ideal
and balanced surface to breeze the two year olds for the sale.
The 100-strong catalogue includes two year olds by top sires such as
Alhaarth, Danetime, Fasliyev, Fusaichi Pegasus, Galileo, Green Desert,
Gulch, Invincible Spirit, Hennessy and Stravinsky. Many of the leading
breeze up consigners are present with quality drafts offered by Mocklershill
Stables, Suirview Stables, Oaks Farm Stables, Jamie Railton and Con Marnane’s
Bansha House Stables.
The sale also adds another dimension to the Goffs Million initiative,
as the catalogue contains a number of two-year-olds holding an entry
for the Goffs Million races in six months time. These include a Green
Desert half brother to a Listed winner (Lot 53), and a Galileo filly
(Lot 36) out of a Listed winning dam.
