Let's Go To Newmarket Racecourses With 'one' Railways 11/04/06
Newmarket Racecourses and 'one' railway are collaborating for 2006 to offer a new travel and admittance deal for racegoers. To launch this exciting venture, there will be a photo call on platform 6 at Liverpool Street Station on Wednesday, April 12, at 11.30am with Frankie Dettori and Philip Robinson riding inflatable space-hopper racehorses.
Commencing
with The Craven, Newmarket's first meeting of the 2006 season on Tuesday,
April 18, racegoers will be able to purchase a great value all-inclusive
ticket which includes travel to Stansted Airport station on a Stansted
express, a luxury coach direct to Newmarket, admittance to the racecourse
and the return journey, from as little as £30.
"'One' railway is delighted to be working with Newmarket races
to offer some fantastic travel and admission packages throughout the
2006 season," said Martin Dean, Sales and Marketing Manager at 'one'.
The 'one' Family Race Day on Sunday, May 28, is the perfect opportunity
for the whole family to enjoy a day at Newmarket's historic NatWest Rowley
Mile. The Spring Bank Holiday fixture is a great day for the family as
children's entertainers, bouncy castles and a 80ft-long inflatable racetrack
complete with racehorse style space-hoppers are a few examples of extra
special entertainment on offer for 'one' family race day.
