Hills Offer Odds of 1-3 for Another Irish Trained Winner of the Cheltenham Bumper 03/03/10 Irish trained horses have won 14 of the 17 running’s of the Champion Bumper, and William Hill are offering odds of 1-3 for the winner of this year’s race to be once again trained in the Emerald Isle. Ireland is responsible for 17 of the 38 entries for the Weatherby’s sponsored contest, and judging by the latest ante-post lists, it’ll be a big surprise if the Champion Bumper winner hails from Britain. Dermot Weld’s bumper stars - Elegant Concorde and Hidden Universe currently head William Hill’s betting for the Bumper, while Willie Mullins, who has won the race six times, has entered four horses in the race Bishopsfurze, Day Of A Lifetime, Lios A Choill and Up Ou That. |
