The following horse racing events are the biggest races that are scheduled for 2023 and the remainder of 2022 from England and around the world.

To begin with, here are some of the biggest UK and global horse racing events, festivals and races that are still to come in 2022. They include the following:

  • 2022 Tingle Creek Festival – This event is scheduled to run between December 2nd and 3rd at Sandown Park, which is in Surrey, England, and some of the most notable races to look forward to here are the Winter Novice’s Hurdle, the Tingle Creek Chase, and the Henry VIII Novices’ Chase
  • The International 2022 – This event is taking place between December 9th and 10th at the Cheltenham Racecourse in Gloucestershire, England, and some of the featured races here include the Handicap Steeple Chase, the International Hurdle, the Glenfarclas Chase, and the International Gold Cup
  • Christmas Race Day at Exeter – This event will be taking place on December 15th at the Exeter Racecourse, which is in Devon, England.

Other honourable mentions

The other two events still to come in 2022 are the 2022 Christmas Festival from December 26th-27th at the Kempton Park Racecourse in Surrey, England. The main featured races you can place a bet on here include the Desert Orchid Chase, the Mare’s Handicap Hurdle Race, the King George VI Steeplechase, and the Wayward Lad Novices’ Steeple Chase. You also have the 2022 Welsh Grand National, which will also take place towards the end of December (date yet to be confirmed). The main races here at the Chepstow Racecourse in Chepstow, Wales, will include the Championship Bumper, the Welsh National, and the Finale Junior Hurdle.

Between April 13th-15th, it’s the Randox Health Grand National at the Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool, England. Finally, in June 2023, you have the Royal Ascot event at the Ascot Racecourse in Ascot, England.

More top races still to come from around the world

From January to March 2023, you have the 2023 Dubai World Cup Carnival at the Meydan Racecourse in Dubai, UAE, as well as the Pegasus World Cup at the Gulfstream Park, Hallandale Beach, Florida, in the US, and in January and the Kentucky Derby in May 2023 at the Pimlico Race Course, Baltimore, Maryland. The other iconic horse racing event to look forward to in June 2023 is the Belmont Stakes, which takes place annually at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York, in the US.

There are lots of other major racing events on the official horse racing calendar that you will soon be able to attend and/or place a real money wager on, but the exact times and dates have yet to be confirmed for many of them.
